Sunday School Lesson 203 Moses Mission - Part 1 Print E-mail

Lesson: 203 Lesson Name: Moses' Mission (Part 1 of 2)
Theme: God's Power and Greatness

Reading: Exodus 3:1-14

Memory Verse: Psalm 145:3
Memory Verse Text: Great is the LORD. His greatness is unsearchable.

Point 1: Moses had learned to keep sheep and raise a family.
Point 2: Moses had run away from Egypt and God wanted to send him back, but before God sent him back, He took the initiative to reveal Himself.
Point 3: The bush burned with fire but was not consumed.  This was not a special kind of bush, it was God in the bush that made the difference.  What a lesson for Moses and ourselves. It is God in us that makes the difference.
Point 4: God is the great I AM (Explain).  The man who is going to serve God must know how great his God is!  He must also know his humble position in relation to God... Moses had to take the shoes off his feet.
