Ernest Of all the names on the list, J. Boyd Nicholson and Douglas Howard have had the longest continuing association with the Moncton assembly. Boyd first came to the Moncton assembly as a young airman from Scotland and his visits have been many over more than 50 years. Douglas Howard had Gospel meetings in Moncton in 1943 and has made regular visits to Moncton for over 50 years. Douglas Howard died suddenly in December and his funeral was held on New Years day 1999 and was attended by christians from many different assemblies. He was buried at Elmwood cemetery in Moncton. His wife Muriel died in June, 1999.
