Lesson: 204 Lesson Name: Moses' Misson (Part 2 of 2) Theme: God's Wonderful Ways Reading: Exodus 3:14-22; 4:1-9 Memory Verse: Psalm 9:12 Memory Verse Text: He forgetteth not the cry of the humble. lead israel out of Egypt" title="Sunday School Lesson Activity 204 Moses Mission to Lead Israel out of Egypt" width="288" height="216" /> Lesson Teaching Points Point 1: In Ex. 3:16, note what God wanted Moses to say to the Elders: I am visiting you (amazing thought), I have seen, and I will bring you up out of Egypt. Point 2: Discuss what God wanted for His people: A three day journey out of Egypt (rather than 40 years), a clear distinction between His people and all others, and to have all gathered to Him without distraction or rival. However, this wouldn't take place without problems. Point 3: Moses said, "I know they won't listen to me." How quick we are to doubt the greatness of the One who reveals Himself and speaks through us. Point 4: Through a few "object lessons," God had something for Moses to learn and remember: 1) Rod turned into serpent. Lesson: God could have made him run! 2) His hand became full of leprosy, an appalling and awful disease. Lesson: God can cleanse the vilest thing.
