Shad Sluiter - "Cold. That’s how it feels to stand outside of a soggy stadium late at night. It’s cold waiting for a ride when your team has just lost the third game of the season. It feels even colder when your ride is late and all your friends have gone home. It feels especially cold when you find out you’ve just missed out on something really great..."
Build your own full-color paper model of the Tabernacle in about one hour with the help of your class.
Lesson Points
Point 1: God specified exactly what was needed for the Tabernacle in order that He could dwell amongst His people. Point 2: God's specifications also told the people what they were to offer and how to make the offerings. God wanted His people to make their offerings with a willing attitude. Point 3: The Tabernacle was built with a lot of careful, intricate work; work that only had value because the Lord was with them and was in support of the project. Point 4: Even though the Tabernacle had considerable glory, it is such a wonder that God made His presence known in such a humble place. God also made His presence known to the Israelites while journeying in the forms of the cloud and the fire.
Notes: God knew that the day would come when He forsake the Temple. The Lord Jesus' words while here on Earth were; "Your house is left unto you desolate" (Matt. 23:38;Luke 13:35). It is such a tragedy of God when He leaves us to falter onwards on our own.

I have been a Sunday School teacher in a Covenant Church for 7 years and just found your website tonight while frantically preparing for tomorrow morning. It is fantastic! We are doing the tabernacle and I am so thrilled with the downloadable model!!! Thank you so much! Even though we have a curriculum of sorts I find that it often needs supplementing. You will be my first stop from now on! I am also telling all the other SS teachers in my church.
